Rowntree One is a magnificent one bedroom luxury apartment situated in the heart of York city centre.  The birthplace of York’s famous chocolatier Joseph Rowntree – Founder of Rowntrees (now owned by Nestle), Rowntree House has been sympathetically restored into a stunning apartment block housing eight luxury apartments.

The apartment is accessed via a side door on Lady Peckitt Yard – one of York’s many famous “snickelways” with a grand sweeping staircase to the communal hallway.

The apartment is located on the first floor and features a modern open plan lounge with feature fireplace, luxury kitchen and dining area.  There is a laptop friendly workspace and large windows showing views of York city centre.  

The bedroom contains a comfortable double bed, wardrobe and desk/dressing table and a large window with views out across the city.

There is a double shower to the bathroom.

Due to the central location of the property there is no onsite parking however we do offer parking at a city centre location for an additional fee of £10 per night.  

Rowntree One is perfectly located for The Shambles, York Minster and the nightlife of York.  If you are a gin lover York Gin is located in the Tudor building next door.
